PatrimoniLiterari.cat, platform for research dissemination

PatrimoniLiterari.cat is a research dissemination platform carried out by the investigation group of Patrimoni Literari de la Universitat de Girona (Institut de Llengua i Cultura Catalanes) and Càtedra de Patrimoni Literari Maria Àngels Anglada – Carles Fages de Climent de la Universitat de Girona.

The LITERARY CONTESTS section is a digital repository that gathers data collected on Floral Games and other literary contests in Catalan language held from 1859 onwards. Through an interactive map it is possible to navigate the territory in which each of the contests is located, showing the effervescence of this cultural phenomenon in a cross-sectional way. The literary cartography of the Floral Games available at PatrimoniLiterari.cat has been based on the results of the research projects Literature and territorial currents: the lands of Girona (1868-1939) (FFI2011-24706) and Literature and territorial currents (II): the literary construction of the landscape through the Floral Games and literary contests in the Catalan language (1859-1977) (FFI2016-79078-P).
